I’d have to say this is my favorite song on this CD. I heard Barbara sing it live at Old Farm Day in Palmyra VA earlier this month, and it made me well up with tears over my own husband.
I married late in life (at age 32), and I truly believe my dreams came true when I met my husband as well. We’re currently going through raising small children as well as a preteen and we have our own movie nights, sleepless nights and bedtime stories.
What a fun and heartwarming song. Thank you Barbara for sharing it with us. My hubby’s hair is turning gray and I love him more today than the day we got married.
